The activities, decisions, and functioning of the Gentrain Society are vested in its Board of Directors. The Board consists of all officers, members-at-large, and the committee chairs. The actions of the Board are controlled and guided by the Bylaws and the Manual of Operations of the Society.
Elected Officers: (1) President, (2) Vice President, (3) Secretary, (4) Treasurer.
In addition to the elected officers, one member of the MPC Program faculty serves as an officer of the Society. This is a collegial, not an elective office.
There are three members-at-large elected annually.
- With the exception of Lectures and Nominating committes, the President appoints, with Board approval, members of the Society, with their consent, as chairs of standing committees. Chairs select their own committee members, who, like themselves, must be members of the Society. The resulting committee structure is as follows:
