In Normal Times: The Special Events outings are cultural enhancement activities for Gentrain Society members and their guests. They are planned by the Special Event Committee volunteers and are offered to members at our cost. These Events are a great opportunity to meet new friends and share in the fun of group activities. Note: Out of consideration for Society members who do not use this website, reservations for a Special Event will usually not be accepted until the Conductor in which the Event is formally announced is mailed.
During COVID Times:We will be hosting, co-hosting, and simply recommending on-line virtual events, some of which are shown below.
A note about Monterey County Theater Alliance: MCTA has regular updates on local live theatre events, primarily virtually. Listings below for their events are shown in gray. For more information about these shows, go to their website or email Andrea McDonald at admin@TheatreMonterey.org.
